Familie Mantler, Blütenreich Grüner Veltliner 2023

Familie Mantler are a true family-run winery. Started in 1922, they are now into their fourth generation of family ownership when current custodians and brothers, Thomas & Benedict, took the reigns in 2010. Based around the small village of Ebersbrunn in Austria's Weinviertel region, the family focuses on the reds and whites for which Austria is best known. Blütenreich ("flowery") Grüner Veltliner 2023 is a deliciously crisp, aromatic white. Notes of green apple, blossom and peach move to a vibrant, refreshing palate with more fruity notes and a nice lick of lemonny-citrus acidity carrying the bright finish. The perfect aperitif wine.
